The new Railway App keeps you well informed at all times: timetable, real-time information, current carriage sequence, live tracking, and much more. The app is your digital companion in local and long-distance travel, whether you are traveling by bus, tram, suburban train, underground or train. And if you have the Germany Ticket, finding the right connection is especially easy with the Railway App. We have included a dedicated counter for the Germany Ticket.

Timetable & Connections:
Simply enter your departure and destination stations, public transport stops also work, choose date and time, and all trains, changes, and possible walking paths that will quickly take you to your destination will be displayed. Do you have the Germany Ticket? Then activate the corresponding switch so that only valid connections for the ticket are displayed.

Favorites:
If you have found a suitable train connection, you can easily add it to your favorites. This way, you can keep it in view at all times.

Station Boards:
The departure boards show you which trains are departing next from the station. Whether ICE, IC, RE, RB or suburban trains, you have everything well in view. Local transport is also included. And if you allow the app to determine your location, it will also show you the stations that are nearby.

Real-time Information:
We provide you with current information about your journey as quickly as possible in the app. For example, your favorites are regularly updated and show departure and arrival times in real-time. If there are delays or cancellations, you will be notified immediately.

Train Route:
With a glance, you see all the train stops with the corresponding times, platform numbers, and additional information on delays, disruptions, and cancellations.

Map View:
For every connection and every train journey, the app also shows you a map. You see the route, all stations, and even the approximate location of the train once it is on its journey.

Occupancy Forecast:
Do you want to enjoy your journey to the fullest? Yes but not literally! The app shows you the current and predicted occupancy of the trains, individually for each class and detailed for each stop. This way, you can decide in advance whether to reserve a seat or even consider another connection.

Current Carriage Sequence:
Avoid the stress when boarding by positioning yourself in the section on the platform where the carriage with your reserved seat will stop. In the app, you see the actual carriage sequence with many other useful information: quiet areas, wheelchair spaces, toddler compartments, bicycle spaces, family areas, comfort seats, and more.

Find a Seat:
To easily find the right seat, you can tap on individual carriages in the carriage sequence. You will then see a detailed sketch of the interior.

Live Tracking:
Share your personal live link with your loved ones so that you can easily tell family and friends how your train journey is going and when you will arrive. No network needed, no battery consumption, but always up to date.

The app offers valuable additional information especially for commuters, frequent travelers, and railway professionals: lounges, train types, series numbers, line numbers, announcements, location information and much more.
